Teddy Bear Hospital Project, London

Community Outreach

Strange people ... scary instruments ... and needles - no wonder kids are afraid to go to see the doctor! The Teddy Bear Hospital Project aims to help alleviate some of these fears in a fun and interactive way. As a part of this project you will have the opportunity to interact with children in Kindergarten and Grade 1 classrooms as Teddy Doctors tending to their sick Teddy bears through several stations, including history and physical exam, needles/immunizations, casting, X-Ray/MRI, and hand washing. If you are interested in being a part of this new project, please stay tuned for the upcoming training session.
